Crystals
Crystals have been used for 
thousands of years. People have always been fascinated by them, for example, the ancient Egyptians used them to decorate jewellery and buildings, to promote health and to work on emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well being. Civilisations have come and gone however crystals have always been there.
Crystals come from the earth so they are already a part of the universal life of energy and light, they are incredible conductors of magical energy.
Quartz crystals amplify, store, focus, transform and transfer energy. Quartz is used in watches,computers, televisions and radios to store and transmit energy. It has the ability to vibrate at precise rates and also transform electricity into waves which can be broadcast in a radio or television signals.
We are not scientists, so if you want to find more about the scientific side of quartz, search Google and you will find plenty of sites explaining the how’s and whys with all the scientific proof.

Clear quartz crystal has all the colours of the spectrum passing throught it, but none are absorbed, therefore, it can be used for anything.

Points
Points are as the name suggests formed with a point at the tip. Most have a single point at one end, however, read on to find out about others. Points are good to use to receive and transmit energy and are mainly used for personal use.
Clusters
Clusters have numerous smaller points facing in all directions. These are mainly used to disperse and change energy. They are mainly used for groups, family and in practises, or offices.

Some other things to look for on your point
If your point displays a diamond on one side, usually at the base of a facet, it is said to have a window. The four sides symbolise the bridging of upper and lower worlds and the balance between your inner and outer self. A window quartz point reflects back to you what others see you as.
These points have a parallelogram instead of a diamond as above(see the where the red pencil is pointing). If you gaze at the parallelogram you may see wavy lines, if you breath in rythum with these waves you can drift into a particular part of your life.
